Since owning this property, the current owner has done a test hole down to bedrock and exposed an area approximately 10' x 15' and recovered 3 ounces of gold. The gold ranged in size from flakes to a little larger than quarter ounce nugget (see the photo).
In what little mining that has been done on this property, there has been at least one nugget that weighted 14.5 ounces.
